Writing the name of this took longer than making them. They are a breeze and you’ll be happy you took the time to pack them the next time you wake up at a back country camp.

Now that breakfast is in the bag, check out our Raw Lemon Amazeballs to toss in your day bag for your day’s adventure.

1/2 c protein pancake mix (I use Kodiak Cakes)
1 tbsp peanut butter powder (I use PB2)
1/4 c dehydrated bananas
1 packet of raw honey (I use Nature Nate’s)

At home dehydrate your banana in slices for 4-6 hours at 135 degrees. Let them dry and carry them separate. Use a Ziploc snack bag to carry your pancake powder mixed with the peanut butter powder

At camp, cover your bananas in boiling water and let them rehydrate for around ten or fifteen minutes (image right). Mix your water right into your bag, seal and mix around with your fingers until it's all wet. Cut a bottom corner of the bag and use this to push out small pancakes onto the hot pan. Place one banana on the wet side up. Flip them when ready, but keep an eye on the banana side down. Don't over do it, the wet banana tends to burn quick!
